Understanding Your Refund Options
This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, supplier credits, and service-fee refunds are handled for travel arrangements made through United Travel Solution LLC.
This policy applies to airline tickets and, where applicable, other travel services arranged through United Travel Solution LLC. Your specific refund rights may also be governed by the airline, hotel, cruise line, tour operator, booking provider, fare rules, applicable federal law, and applicable state law.
Types of Charges
A booking made through United Travel Solution LLC may include the following types of charges:
- Supplier Charges — Amounts charged for airfare, hotel accommodations, cruises, vacation packages, or other travel services provided by a travel supplier.
- Service Fees — Fees charged by United Travel Solution LLC for arranging, assisting with, or servicing a reservation.
Supplier charges and United Travel Solution LLC service fees may have different cancellation and refund conditions.
Before payment is authorized, customers will be provided with applicable pricing, material restrictions, and refund or cancellation conditions to the extent required by applicable law and available at the time of booking.
Supplier Refunds
Refundability of a supplier charge depends on the fare, rate, ticket, reservation, or booking conditions applicable to the purchase.
Some fares and travel products may be:
- Fully refundable;
- Partially refundable;
- Non-refundable;
- Refundable subject to a cancellation fee; or
- Eligible only for a supplier-issued credit or voucher.
Where a supplier credit or voucher is offered instead of a cash refund, the applicable terms, restrictions, and expiration conditions will be communicated to the customer when available.
United Travel Solution LLC will submit eligible refund requests to the applicable supplier promptly after receiving the customer's request and any information or authorization required to process the request.
Airline Cancellations and Significant Flight Changes
For flights to, from, or within the United States, applicable U.S. Department of Transportation refund requirements may provide consumers with a right to a refund when an airline cancels a flight or makes a significant change or significant delay to the itinerary and the customer chooses not to travel or accept an applicable alternative transportation or compensation option.
Where United Travel Solution LLC is the merchant of record for the airfare transaction, we will process refunds that are required under applicable federal law.
A refund required under applicable law may include the refundable airfare, applicable government-imposed taxes and fees, and other amounts required to be refunded under the applicable DOT rules.
A customer may choose an alternative flight, travel credit, voucher, or other compensation where offered and accepted by the customer. A customer will not be required to accept a credit or voucher in place of a refund when applicable federal law provides a right to a refund and the customer chooses the refund.
24-Hour Airline Cancellation Rule
Certain airline reservations may qualify for cancellation within 24 hours of booking without penalty when the requirements of the applicable U.S. Department of Transportation rule are satisfied.
In general, the federal 24-hour airline requirement applies to qualifying airline reservations purchased at least seven days before the scheduled departure, subject to the applicable DOT requirements.
Important: The federal 24-hour airline cancellation/ refund requirement does not automatically apply to tickets purchased through travel agents, online travel agencies, or other third-party agents in the same manner that it applies to airlines.
Travel agents may offer their own equivalent or similar procedures. Therefore, customers booking through United Travel Solution LLC should review the specific cancellation and refund conditions presented during the booking process and contact us promptly if they wish to cancel a reservation.
Voluntary Customer Cancellations
If a customer voluntarily cancels a reservation for reasons unrelated to an airline cancellation or qualifying significant flight change, the refund will be determined according to the applicable supplier's fare or booking rules and the terms disclosed at the time of purchase.
Depending on the booking, cancellation may result in:
- A full refund;
- A partial refund;
- A cancellation penalty;
- A supplier credit or voucher; or
- No refund.
United Travel Solution LLC cannot guarantee a refund where the applicable airline, hotel, cruise line, tour operator, or other supplier has established a non-refundable fare or rate, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
Service Fee Refunds
United Travel Solution LLC service fees are separate from supplier charges.
- A service fee may be non-refundable after the requested travel service has been performed or work has been completed, provided that the non-refundable nature and applicable amount of the fee were properly disclosed as required by applicable law.
- If a booking cannot be completed because of an error attributable to United Travel Solution LLC, the applicable service fee may be refunded.
- If no booking or service was authorized and no service fee was disclosed as payable, no service fee will be charged.
Where applicable federal or state law requires a refund, this policy will not be used to improperly withhold an amount that must legally be refunded.
Refunds Required by U.S. DOT Rules
When a ticket agent is the merchant of record and a refund is required under applicable U.S. Department of Transportation rules for a covered airline cancellation or significant delay/change, the refund will be provided in accordance with the applicable federal requirements.
For qualifying refunds:
- Credit-card purchases are subject to the applicable 7-business-day prompt-refund requirement.
- Cash, check, debit-card, or other qualifying payment methods are subject to the applicable 20-calendar-day prompt-refund requirement.
- Refunds are generally made to the original form of payment unless the customer affirmatively agrees to another permitted form of payment.
The time required for a financial institution to post a refund after it has been processed may vary.
Supplier Processing Times
For voluntary cancellations and refunds that depend on a supplier's approval or processing, the actual processing time may vary.
United Travel Solution LLC will submit eligible refund requests promptly and will communicate material updates when information is received from the applicable supplier.
The time required for funds to appear in a customer's account may also depend on the supplier, payment processor, bank, or card issuer.
Travel Credits and Vouchers
A supplier may provide a travel credit, voucher, or other alternative form of compensation when permitted by the applicable fare rules or law.
If a travel credit or voucher is offered as an alternative to a refund that is legally required under applicable U.S. DOT rules, the customer must be informed of the applicable refund right before accepting the alternative compensation.
The validity period, restrictions, transferability, and other conditions of a supplier credit or voucher are determined by the issuing supplier unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Refund Request Procedure
To request a refund or cancellation, contact United Travel Solution LLC as soon as possible.
- Phone: 1-888-404-6716
- Email: info@unitedtravelsolution.com
Please provide:
- Your confirmation or reservation number;
- Passenger name;

Refund Review and Confirmation
After receiving a refund request, United Travel Solution LLC will review the applicable fare rules, supplier terms, service-fee terms, and any applicable federal or state requirements.
When a refund request is submitted to a supplier, we will provide confirmation when reasonably available.
Approval of a supplier refund is subject to the applicable supplier's rules unless the refund is otherwise required by law.
Taxes and Fees
Refund treatment for taxes, government charges, airline-imposed charges, supplier fees, and other amounts may vary depending on the applicable transaction and refund rules.
Where applicable law requires a refund of qualifying amounts, those amounts will be handled in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.
All mandatory charges and applicable fees will be disclosed as required by law before payment is requested.
Chargebacks and Billing Disputes
If you believe that a charge was incorrect or that an eligible refund has not been properly processed, please contact United Travel Solution LLC first so that we can review the transaction and attempt to resolve the matter.
A customer retains any rights available under applicable law and applicable payment-network rules.
If a chargeback is initiated while a refund is already being processed, the resolution may take additional time because the transaction may be subject to review by the payment provider.
State and Local Consumer Protection Laws
Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to waive, limit, or exclude any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable federal, state, or local law.
Additional requirements may apply depending on the customer's location, the location of the transaction, the type of travel service purchased, and the states in which United Travel Solution LLC conducts business.
Where applicable, United Travel Solution LLC will comply with applicable state-specific seller-of-travel, consumer-protection, disclosure, refund, and licensing or registration requirements.
California Seller of Travel Requirements
California has specific Seller of Travel laws that may require registration, disclosures, and other consumer protections for businesses covered by California law.
Where California Seller of Travel requirements apply to a transaction or United Travel Solution LLC's activities, the applicable California requirements will govern in addition to this Refund Policy.
Any required Seller of Travel registration number, disclosure, trust-account, bond, or restitution-fund information should be displayed or provided as required by California law.
No Waiver of Legal Refund Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to eliminate or reduce a refund right that is required by applicable law.
If a conflict exists between this policy and a mandatory requirement of applicable federal or state law, the mandatory legal requirement will control to the extent of the conflict.
Changes to This Refund Policy
United Travel Solution LLC may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in applicable laws, regulations, supplier requirements, or business practices.
The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective or updated date.
